🐶 Keeping Holidays Safe with New Dogs
For anxious or aggressive dogs, the holiday season can be hard. When unfamiliar or new people and pets come around, they will need extra support from you — their humans!
Managing an aggressive dog around new dogs requires careful planning and a gradual approach. Depending on your dog’s level of anxiety/aggression, you may need to separate them from the other pups altogether. Be sure to plan ahead even if they’ve gotten along previously, as it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It's crucial to maintain strict control and supervision during any interaction. Use long leashes to provide distance and prevent sudden encounters. Always prioritize the safety of all dogs involved, and be prepared to intervene if any signs of aggression arise.

Sit & Stay Pro Tip — Staying Safe with Holiday Plants
The holidays are a time for joy, laughter, and... potential canine chaos! With increased social gatherings and the influx of unfamiliar faces (and dogs!), it's crucial to take extra steps to ensure your dog's well-being. That’s particularly true for dogs who are already anxious or aggressive to begin with.
Identify Triggers: Observe your dog's behavior around other dogs. Does it bark excessively, lunge, growl, or show signs of fear (whining, trembling, tucking tail)? These behaviors could indicate discomfort around other pups.
Create a Safe Haven: When the house becomes overwhelming, provide a quiet, comfortable space for your dog to retreat to. This could be a crate, a designated room, or a dog bed in a less-trafficked area.
Manage Greetings: Control introductions with unfamiliar dogs. Use long leashes to keep dogs at a distance and allow them to sniff each other calmly. Avoid forced interactions — that could destroy any hope for a pup friendship.
Minimize Stressors: Keep the noise level down. Loud music and excited voices can exacerbate anxiety. Be sure their safe space is away from the noise.
Reward Calm Behavior: Offer treats and praise when your dog remains calm and relaxed around other dogs.
Consult a Professional: If your dog's aggression or anxiety is severe, seek guidance from a certified dog trainer or behaviorist. They can provide personalized strategies to help your dog cope with holiday stress.
Remember: The holidays should be a joyful time for everyone, including your furry friends. Taking proactive steps to manage your dog's stress can ensure a more peaceful and enjoyable holiday season for all.

Vet Recommendation — Maintain the Routine
The holidays often mean changed or adapted routines. For dogs, that can spell disaster — just think about those sad eyes during Daylight Savings Time when dinner is late. One way to minimize the anxiety around routine changes is to stick to as much of your pup’s routine as possible. Try to feed them at the same time whenever possible.
Novaxidil Triple Action Hair Regrowth Treatment
Novaxidil is a Premium OTC Triple Action hair loss treatment that stimulates hair regrowth, prevents further loss, AND nourishes your scalp with a combination of clinically proven ingredients: 5% Minoxidil, 2% K-Conazole, 1% Nicotinamide, Vitamin K, Biotin, and Collagen Peptides.
Our team of MD/PhD's formulated Novaxidil to maximize results while minimizing side effects.
MINOXIDIL 5%: Minoxidil is the Gold Standard for hair regrowth. It achieves this by shortening the telogen phase, extending the anagen phase, increasing blood flow to the scalp, and increasing dermal papilla cell activity.
K-CONAZOLE™ 2%: Studies have shown that K-Conazole™, a proprietary version of the popular compound, blocks the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone linked to male pattern baldness, as effectively as prescription alternatives like FINA without the side effects. It works by inhibiting the 5-alpha reductase (5AR) enzyme, which converts testosterone into DHT.
NICOTINAMIDE 1%: Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide, has potent effects on hair regrowth. In studies, it has been shown to increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation to the scalp, as well as prevent premature catagen entry, and increase hair thickness. Nicotinamide works in synergy with Minoxidil, and K-Conazole™ to maximize hair regrowth, and minimize loss like no other product on the market!
Before you give up, and start rocking the "bald look," give Novaxidil a try. We're confident you won't regret it.
